General Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Kansas City CARE Clinic! The support we receive from volunteers enables us to accomplish our mission of promoting health and wellness by providing quality services, at no charge, to people without access to basic care.

Because our patients rely on us to maintain a standard of excellence in their care, the following volunteer application process is in place. Please read below on how to become a volunteer at the Kansas City CARE Clinic.

1. Download the volunteer application packet here.

3. E-mail the application and, if applicable, copies of current professional licenses and/or certificates, to or mail to the address below. (Licensed volunteers must have a current Missouri license.)

Kansas City CARE Clinic
Attn: Volunteer Coordinator
3515 Broadway
Kansas City, MO 64111

Feel free to contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Debbie Skaggs, by phone at 816.777.2761 or via email at if you have any questions or need additional information regarding the volunteer program.

After your completed application is processed, you will be contacted for a phone interview and invited to attend both an orientation and specific training for your area of interest. Due to the number of applications received and the scrutiny required, the application and orientation process may take up to 60 days to complete.  Again, thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Kansas City CARE Clinic. We look forward to working with you!
