Faces of CARE: Annual Appeal 2015

2015 has been a momentous year for the Kansas City CARE Clinic. We reached two significant milestones— designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center and recognition as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. In addition, our Chief Medical Officer, Craig Dietz, D.O., was named Physician of the Year by the American Osteopathic Foundation. We could not be more pleased! All of these accomplishments help ensure the future of the Clinic and demonstrate what you already know—that our patients receive exceptional care.

I’m sure you know our patients. The faces below represent just a few of the 9,000 patients we are proud to care for each year. They are vital members of our community who deserve high quality healthcare, and many come to the Clinic when they have nowhere else to go. 82% of our medical patients remain uninsured or under-insured, and they struggle to access preventive health screenings, ongoing care for chronic conditions, and even necessary medications. We ask for your help in meeting this great need.

With your donation we will expand our services to include inter-generational family care, delivering pediatric and geriatric health services as well as care for every life stage in between. Additionally, your support will fund critical improvements to our dispensary and medication management programs—crucial services our patients need.

Every day we work to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients and our community. We are so grateful for your support! Your year-end gift shows how much you care for the Clinic and our patients.
